► Desperate for relief, I called Dr.
Hernandez and he got me right in. My first treatment for Sciatica was
like night and day after being stooped over for two to three days. A few

► Dr Hernandez has been my acupuncturist for the past three years.
Initially I suffered from a low immune system due to not having a
spleen. I also had a severe condition of tendonitis on my right hand. In
addition, I suffer from severe PMS symptoms. Last year my father had
open heart surgery and I spent my whole summer in the hospital taking
care of him. Dr Hernandez has treated my low immune system by
supplementing it with Chinese herbs. I used to be absent from work at

► I have been treated with acupuncture and herbs by Oscar for the past 5
years for several medical issues. My biggest medical challenge came in
early 2006 when I came down with a severe case of Shingles. The pain
level was so high, that the strongest available medication was little

dangerously high averaging around 196/102. My primary doctor put me on
Norvasc 5mg and Diovan 160mg in an attempt to lower it. Oscar
immediately put me on an herb for high blood pressure and also an herb
to lower my stress from a challenging job. My blood pressure immediately
began to drop and to this day my average is now a healthy and safe
120/62.
I recently went on vacation with a friend who is also a patient of
Oscar’s. I was suffering with heartburn and had neglected to bring my

and calms the stomach. I was thrilled when my heartburn went away. I

migraines and then I was rear ended and suffered from severe whiplash.
After seeking regular medical evaluations and treatments I decided on
something more natural and proven so I went to an Acupuncture Clinic
(started with Dr. Shiu and currently with Dr. Oscar). The results have
been so amazing with the improvement in my immune system and lowering
the pain level from the auto accident, also less frequent migraine, it’s
wonderful. Chinese herbs are more proven than western medicine and safer
and I'm a walking example of the results. I can now eat more things, my
high cholesterol level is dropping, my pain level is lessened for both
injuries and migraines and I'm getting back in control of my life.

► My life-changing story begins over 2 years ago when I first came to
Dr. Hernandez. I suffered from multiple problems stemming from massive
amounts of chemotherapy and radiation. I could not walk without limping
and I was in constant chronic pain because the radiation and chemo
caused my bones to deteriorate and I had lost all of the cartilage in my
right hip. An orthopedic surgeon had told me that I would need a hip
replacement at 41 years of age.
On top of this I worked in an extremely stressful job and was subjected
to an increasingly hostile work environment. As a result my immune
system was literally shutting down. I had acute bronchitis and asthma
and could not even sleep through the night without using an inhaler
several times just to breathe. I coughed constantly and was growing more
and more tired each day.
My health was at serious risk. So where do you start?
Oscar immediately began treating me with acupuncture and cupping to
strengthen my lungs along with herbs. Within a few weeks I was able to
sleep through the night without the inhaler. I no longer coughed and my
immune system grew stronger everyday. To this day the bronchitis has not
reoccurred and I have long since thrown away all of the inhalers!
For my hip Oscar treated me with acupuncture in my hip and surrounding
area, followed by the heat mat for relief. It took several treatments
but I began to feel relief. Within a few weeks I was able to go walking
and later even hiking without the excruciating pain that had haunted me
for nearly 14 years. Today I am able to enjoy all kinds of activities I
thought I would NEVER be able to experience again.
I am 44 now and still have not had the hip replacement!!
Recently I began experiencing what seemed to be Gall Bladder attacks. I
had pain in my side after eating along with nausea. I had also begun to
run a low-grade fever. My primary doctor felt I was suffering from
stones or sludge in my Gall Bladder and began scheduling me for a series
of tests. His thoughts were that I would need my Gall Bladder removed.
Oscar immediately put me on an aggressive treatment of several different
herbs. One was to combat the infection in my body and the other to help
me digest my food and get rid of the sludge/stones. As I began my series
of tests, to all of the doctor’s surprise, all of the results
consistently came back negative? Within weeks my fever and pain simply
went away. All of the doctors were puzzled………..but we know it was the

Thank you once again, this time for helping me stop smoking! I was
